If this is your first time here and you have not previously downloaded an IRC client please follow the instructions below.

1. Download our default IRC client. Just click on this button for download. Follow the directions as the download proceeds allowing it to create a desktop icon. We will be using the channel WWASC on the NewNet.net server.

This is safe and free and will allow you to participate in the chat room. (For more information on IRC go to: irchelp.org/irchelp/)

When download completes, start kvirc.

2. Create your own individual nickname.

3. On the bottom of the screen is the line you will type in. (red arrow).

Type: /server irc.newnet.net. Hit ENTER

Now type: /JOIN #WWASC recovery and hit ENTER again.

You are now in the chat room.

To chat, type in the same line as above and hit ENTER. Your dialogue will appear on the screen (yellow arrow). Dialogues of others will also appear in this screen with their nickname.

Members in attendance will be listed in the screen on left (blue arrow)

Chat Room Policies

This chat room is for the specific purpose of communications for trusted servants and committee members of the Woods & Waters Area. Use it to hold online meetings.

Please be polite and respect the opinions and ideas of everyone participating. All ideas and opinions are valid whether we agree with them or not.

Please do not use inflammatory or profane language in the chat room. Remember that we are all working toward the same goal. Poor behavior may get you removed from the room.
